The young man in the buggy with his wife and children is Dr. L.B. Arceneaux of Church Point. The drawing was done from a photograph taken about 1900 and loaned to me by my close friend, Louis Arceneaux, and his sister, Pauline Arceneaux Harmon, also of Church Point. They are the children of the young man sitting in the bottom of the buggy. The house was from another old photograph of the Louis Joseph "Penault" Arceneaux home at Beaubassin, north of Lafayette. Incidentally, and by coincidence, Penault was the grandfather of Dr. Arceneaux. I found that out after I finished the drawing!
