In the shade of a majestic Live Oak on a warm Sunday afternoon, a large pot of gumbo simmering, two old-time Cajun musicians, the late Mr. Dewey Balfa and the late Mr. Ira LeJeune played traditional Cajun Waltz. Adding a touch of contemporary is Tina Lea Sonnier accompanying with the Tee-fer (triangle). Tina is my daughter-in-law. All the elements I portray in this drawing are a big part of what makes me proud to be a Cajun. Cajun proud!
