Three Sisters and a Cousin

Three Sisters and a Cousin

$225.00

In growing up we had lots of respect for our cousins (and we had lots of them). Sunday afternoons were spent playing. The Cajun boys would be out at the barn playing games with corn cobs, in the pasture playing baseball or in the woods playing "steal the country". The Cajun girls would play their doll games, like the one shown here, a game called "jumping jacks". There was lots of time, many games to play and plenty of us. The models for this drawing are my three nieces, Rachael, Joan and Sarah and my daughter, Annette (she's the second from the right). I gave the little boy and his goat the fictitious names of To-bee and Macaroni.
